The National Center “Russia” became the meeting place for leading futurists, politicians, and visionaries from around the world, gathered to discuss key questions about the future. Among the participants of the international symposium “Creating the Future” was the Executive Director of the Museum of the Future (UAE), Majid Al-Mansouri, who attended several significant events within the Symposium, including the museum congress “The Museum as a Place for Shaping the Future” and the plenary discussion “The Philosophy of the Future.”
“It was a great honor for me to take part in this important event, in the historic city of Moscow. At the Symposium, we discussed how we can jointly create a better future for the next generation. The Symposium allowed me to establish valuable connections with colleagues. Despite the cool air, everyone I met in Moscow treated me with great warmth. I am looking forward to the opportunity to visit the city again soon,” noted Majid Al-Mansouri.
According to him, the future of museums requires a new approach. In his opinion, it is necessary to combine captivating stories and advanced technologies to create a vivid, interactive experience that will remain in visitors’ memories for a long time.
“I am convinced that museums should be portals to another dimension, inspiring visitors. Whether it is art, history, or science, museum spaces should evoke awe and inspiration in their visitors,” added the foreign guest.
Majid Al-Mansouri presented the National Center “Russia” with a book by the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, titled “My Vision, Challenges in the Pursuit of Excellence.” Al-Mansouri expressed confidence that this book, which has inspired millions of people in the UAE and around the world, will make an equally profound impression on the Russian audience.
The National Center “Russia” was established by order of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to preserve the legacy of the International Exhibition-Forum “Russia” and showcase the achievements of the country and its citizens on a permanent basis. The center’s activities involve federal government bodies, state companies, corporations, and regions.
The first event at the National Center “Russia” was the international symposium “Creating the Future,” which welcomed over 6,000 guests from 101 countries.
