Hampshire, UK, 15th Feb 2022, ZEXPRWIRE, Budding engineers and pilots will love this exciting new toy. Designed in the UK, Build Your Own have created an eco-friendly Paper Plane Launcher. Made from sustainable cardboard and no plastics, this innovative toy gives enquiring minds the chance to experiment with 10 different paper plane designs. Challenge family and friends to see who can achieve the best elevation and distance with the help of the Paper Plane Launcher.

The Build Your Own Paper Plane Launcher is part of a superb range of STEM-inspired products that seamlessly combine education, science and fun! The 47-piece kit contains everything you need to slot together and build this impressive Paper Plane Launcher. Simply press out the parts of heavy-duty cardboard, follow the instructions to attach the elastic bands for the twin propulsion system and you are ready to go!

This new toy makes it easy for children to explore the wonders of aero dynamics and is a fantastic introduction to the world of engineering. Once their Paper Plane Launcher is assembled the real fun begins; with 10 different Fold ‘N’ Fly paper plane options there’s plenty to keep active minds occupied during the lockdown. As soon as the launcher and plane are ready the challenges can begin. Kids will enjoy spending time testing the accuracy, elevation angles and distance their planes achieve.

There are 4 different scoring targets included to make the game play even more sophisticated. Using the Build Your Own Paper Plane Launcher, the planes can reach up to an incredible 10 metres! Once they’ve tested the basics, it’s possible to push the boundaries; experimenting with wing adjustments or combining the integrated power scale and the plane’s flight dynamics to produce a different flight path outcome. Older children will enjoy the intricacies of creating straight or looped flight paths, testing accuracy skills using the scoring targets, and designing their own obstacle courses – the possibilities for fun are endless!

Build Your Own was created by Paper Engine – a UK-based team of brilliant paper engineers with decades of experience engineering pop-up books, direct mail pieces, packaging and more. Some favourite pop-up book projects for much loved children’s titles have included The Very Hungry Caterpillar 40th anniversary edition, The Tiger Who Came to Tea 40th anniversary edition and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt pop-up edition. They most recently partnered with Alton Towers to create an intricate pop-up book that marks ‘The World of David Walliams’ coming to Alton Towers in 2020.

Build Your Own’s company ethos is ‘Less plastic, paper fantastic!’ – they’re incredibly passionate about being environmentally responsible in all that they do and respecting our planet.

Build Your Own love to connect with budding engineers and their grown-ups. Each product is made from high-quality, sustainable materials, with minimal plastics used in both the designs and packaging without compromising on integrity.
