New VP and larger Channel Team Trend Micro expands Germany-presence

Security vendor Trend Micro potentiates the Channel activities. Both for the German Channel, as well as Finance Team reinforcements. In addition, Hannes Steiner signed as the new Vice President of Germany now for the shops in Germany.

With personnel increase, Trend Micro develops the topics of Cloud, Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Finance & Insurance. As Vice President of Germany Hannes Steiner now runs the business of the Japanese Security service provider in Germany. The Manager was since 2016 for Trend Micro as Senior Director of Sales in Germany active and takes over the baton from Frank Schwittay, who is now concentrating on his role as Vice President, Europe and before that, both positions held. Steiner is happy to support in his new role, the IT managers of the customer in addressing their security requirements: “The ongoing Digital Transformation, the merger of IT and OT, as well as a rapidly changing threat landscape, require a sophisticated and holistic security concept.”

The Channel Team gets double the growth: As an Enterprise Account Manager MSP Linda Haase will expand the MSP Business with partners in the Region. Before Haase came to Trend Micro, it had developed as a Regional Partner Manager at Vectra the Channel in the DACH Region and Eastern Europe. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Check Point active. The second new addition, Nicholas, Pook, who is also the Check Point, where he served as a Major Account Manager for large customers. He was previously responsible for Pook as a Business Development Manager for Cloud and Cyber-security at Ingram Micro structure of the Business with Trend Micro. This he now takes over the further development of strategic alliances with the Cloud providers.

Finally, new support for the Sales Team comes with Kay’s book heister. Book heister was even 14 years at Check Point, where he was responsible for Global Account Manager Team Leader, Finance, strategic customer and partner acquisition. At Trend Micro, he has held the Position of Senior Executive Finance & Insurance.
